The 2023 Budget process officially starts on Octowith a Workshop after the Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting for a review of the Expense Budget, Revenue Budget and Capital Budget. See information below on the 2023 process for a timeframe and background in the meantime. The 2024 Budget process will begin in early Fall. This is a partnership of the MaineDOT and the Town as we work toward enhancements for Main Street. It all begins with planning as we work toward rehabilitation of Main Street in the downtown as well as work along Main Street from the Pittsfield/Detroit line to the back entrance of the Industrial Park. Go to the Events Calendar and click on the PPI Meeting to see the agenda and talking points. Attend the meetings by coming to the Municipal Building or watch on Town Hall Streams at any time. This feasibility study will review Main Street to determine recommendations on traffic flow, pedestrian flow, bicycling, utility issues and the downtown in general. The Kickoff Meeting of the PPI Committee will be taking place on Thursday, at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers of the Pittsfield Municipal Building. A walk through will be planned for the end of June 2023. Our feasibility study of Main Street to mesh together the State's large project and the Town's project as well as look at adjacent areas began at the end of March 2023.
